What is a ligne?
The ligne is a historic unit of length originally used in France until the 18th century, and retained by watchmakers to this day. One ligne is approximately 2.256mm or 0.0888 inches. Pronounced "line."
How is a movement's overall height measured?
The overall height of a watch movement is measured from the bottom of the movement to the top of the center post or cannon pinion.

Are Cas-Ker's movements under warranty?
Our movements are warranted to be running accurately (within factory specs) when you receive them. Return immediately if any do not meet your satisfaction. Any further warranty is between you and your customer. Movements with dial dot or cleaning fluid residue, lint or fingerprints will not be exchanged.
